We are looking for very experienced developers for our next generation products. You will be a lead member of an agile team that is highly focused on building the best web presence suite in the industry, and youll be challenged to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will have significant leadership experience, be familiar with Web technologies, Java, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks (ExtJS, JQuery, Prototype, others), CSS and HTML), and Flex. Job duties will include participating in daily scrums, design meetings, user story development, determination of level of effort, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and bug fixing, depending on the stage of our development lifecycle. The applicant should be energetic and self-motivated to complete the work in timely manner. Oral and written communication skills are essential. The successful applicant will benefit from working in a fast-paced environment and will be introduced to cutting-edge technology. Work is to be performed on-site, though flexible arrangements can be discussed. Job Experience As a web developer, the successful applicant is expected to learn our suite of web applications in preparation for supporting and expanding them. Requirements include:A computer science or computer engineering university degree. Graduate work in computer science is an asset;10 years work experience as a senior developer;Ability to mentor and lead teams through product development cycle including white-boarding, prototyping, design and development;Excellent communication skills for technical, product and other business audiences;Expert knowledge of web development technologies, including Java, JavaScript (and advanced JS frameworks such as ExtJS, JQuery, YUI, Prototype), HTML/XHTML, CSS, JSON. Experience with some application framework such as Spring is seen as an asset;1 year working experience in ExtJSExcellent experience designing and building complex enterprise systems;Excellent working knowledge of J2EE application servers such as SunOne, Websphere, and WebLogic;Excellent grasp of Object Oriented principles Above average understanding of Internet technologies such as HTTP, FTP, Email, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Coldfusion, \"Web 2.0\", open source \"software as a service\", etc Location: Herndon, VA Principals only.
