I live in Herndon and unfortunately just got laid off due to budget cuts yesterday. Total bummer to say the least!! Anyhow, we had already signed a lease to move from our condo into a single family home to rent, and my husband and I need a few things:Carpet, large area rugs, runners, etc to cover the hardwood floors currently in the house (we have a dog and dont want her to scratch the floors). I work at the United States Geological Survey and I am moving into a new office next month. I will have some extra wall space and, instead of putting up a typical geologic map of the U.S., I want to hang up my old climbing gear. However, I dont have enough to cover the entire wall and could really use some more USED gear to hang up.I am replacing my 15+ years old climbing gear because I am going to take my kids and friends kids climbing in the fall. Hello,I am looking for a quiet, clean professional male or female to share a townhome with in Herndon. The townhome is located in the Coppermine Crossing community off of River Birch Road. Its close to BAE Systems (3 minutes), Route 28 (2 minutes), the Dulles Toll Road/Rt. 267 (5 minutes), the Fairfax County Parkway/7100 (10 minutes), Route 50 (10 minutes), and many local restaurants. Its right down the street from Reston Town Center and Dulles Town Center. Its also about a 15 minute commute to George Mason University (GMU).The 4-level townhome was built in 2006 and has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The garage is located on the first floor, the main living area on the 2nd floor, two bedrooms on the 3rd floor, and the master on the 4th floor. There is a small balcony and the garage is primarily used for storage.One of the two bedrooms on the 3rd floor is currently available. The room is a 10x10 (not including short walkway into the room) with closet and two large windows facing the street. The room currently has a futon and end table, which you are more than welcome to use or it can be removed as well. The other bedroom is occupied by a young, quiet, professional female so you would have the entire 3rd floor to yourselves. There is a quiet, professional couple on the 4th floor. The house is generally unoccupied during the evenings as everyone pretty much works evening hours (2pm-11pm or so). If you worked a 9-5 type of job, you would probably rarely see the roommates.
