Mid and Senior ASP.Net Engineers Employee Navigator is expanding its in-house development staff. We are an application service provider in Gaithersburg, MD partnering with insurance brokers and human resource departments to replace paper in the employee benefits enrollment process with a web portal. The firm is led by a seasoned insurance entrepreneur with a successful track record of delivering innovative products. Employee Navigator is looking for a creative and self-motivating developers to build the second generation of a web based product. The site is developed in ASP.NET 3.5 and C# on top of SQL Server 2005 and makes use of AJAX, DHTML and CSS layout. Successful candidates will be able to show proficiency in page design and database interaction as well as the ability to assist in moving current design to newer technologies such as jQuery and ASP.NET MVC. Strong knowledge of data-binding techniques and the event model are required. An understanding of design differences between casual and power users will be a strong factor. A good foundation in UI design concepts is required. Developers will be working closely with our operations, sales and executive team members providing an excellent opportunity to expand your professional skills. This position requires a Computer Science degree and a minimum of 3 years experience with ASP.NET. The candidate will have to demonstrate proficiency in C#, JavaScript, CSS and the HTTP protocol.
