The Danny Gatton Signature Telecaster is a replica of Gattons own heavily modified 53 Telecaster. Its very curly maple neck boasts a big custom 50s-style U-shape with cubic zirconium side position markers (for improved visibility under stage lights). The lightweight ash body provides plenty of Tele-trademark snap and spank, with a pair of Fender-designed dual blade pickups feeding into a custom tone circuit. The bridge is also a custom design, crafted from stainless steel with compensated brass saddles. Fender/Gotoh vintage-style tuning machines and Danny’s signature on the headstock round out the features. This guitar is mint and is 100% original except for the addition of a Callaham bakelite pickguard. The original pickguard will also be included along with the original premium tweed case, Fender Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, and all the case candy (still sealed in the plastic bag). This guitar weighs just 7.3 pounds and reeks of tone. It resonates with remarkable sustain (even unplugged) and just plays effortlessly. 1993 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe. This was the top of the line American stratocaster of the 90s, except for custom shop and signature models. I am the original owner and its been my #1 guitar for many years. I just had the frets dressed and set-up at Chuck Levins Music. Features:-ash body w/ mystic black color (translucent black finish with dark green underneath)-white pearl pickguard w/ black knobs-22 fret \"C\" shape maple neck w/ rosewood-Fender Lace Sensor pickups - matched set of red, silver and blue (hotter than the gold lace sensors in the standard strat plus models)-TBX tone control-LSR roller nut, locking tuners, 2 point deluxe trem with pop-in chrome arm-original molded plastic caseIt has some minor wear and tear consistent with its age, but just small scratches and dings, nothing serious. This is a serious players guitar perfect for the working musician. Awesome feel and tone with nice low action. If you are unfamiliar with the Lace Sensor pickups, they have increased sustain and output over standard single coils with no noise, and they can be adjusted to any height without loss of tone. The Red (bridge) pickup has the hottest output with a fat humbucking sound. The Silver (middle) pickup has a fat 70s single coil sound with increased output and more midrange. The Blue (neck) pickup has slightly increased output with the warmer 50s humbucking sound. The in between positions using the middle pickup have a more twangy traditional strat sound, but the neck or bridge position alone is great for soloing with overdrive or high gain output and sustain.I will accept cash or Paypal.
