I've used it for backgrounds, but the light stands are wonderful by themselves. I've used them with heavy monolights, or when I needed to get a speedlight high up.

This is an excellent camera, so many features packed into a tiny camera. It 25-200mm (8x zoom) with an excellent wide angle and a great 200mm tele zoom. It also records HD videos. I am selling it because I have too many cameras lying around, I could use some money to finance my next vacation. I have the box, the cables, manual etc. I can throw in a 4GB SD card as well.
