1973 Sunfish Alcort by AMF, the last year of the hand-laid fiberglass hulls, built to take abuse and last as well. Newer models are mold, sprayed glass and do not have the durability. Other than a few scuff marks, mostly from the tiller handle, it appears almost new and unlike most, the foam flotation is not water soaked! This boat is complete including, but not limited to, mast and all riggings as well as a new composite center board and custom boat cover. Comes with a new trailer w/12\" wheels (have title) because car topping is not always an easy chore. The sail does have a few picks in it due to improper rolling instead of folding but nothing to worry about. New sails are available but many are imports and inferior to what is on the boat now (when I purchased the boat the owner \"presented\" me with a new sail, still in the bag. When I took it out, all the stitching was rotted!) If you are familiar with the AMF built Sunfish, you know they are far superior to what is being built today! Hunter 23.5 w/ Galvanized Trailer This is a perfect boat for the trailer sailor. Store in the backyard or rented dry storage at a marina. Its easy to launch or load on the trailer. Needs less than 2 of water at the launch ramp, yet with center board lowered it has a 5 draft. The ballast tank fills with approximately 1200 lb of water for ballast. It fills within a few minutes then drains quickly when the boat is pulled out of the water. Water Ballast boats are ideal for trailering because the ballast is left at the launch ramp making it much lighter. Its powered by a Tahatsu 8hp motor with electric start. Trailer is galvanized with surge brakes, tongue extension and tongue jack. Cabin - small galley with sink and alcohol stove, manual water system,(never filled) portable cooler, portable head (never used or filled with chemicals) and electric bilge pump. The cabin smells new. Cockpit/deck - anchor storage, 2 cockpit lockers. swim ladder, cockpit/cabin table. Sails/Rigging - Mainsail and jib, mainsail has single reef point, boom vang, mast raising system, tiller extension. All lines go back to the cockpit for convenient access. Extra gear included: CDI furling jib, Main sail cover, Snap cover on companionway hatch, Bimini top thats never left out in the weather. We keep it stored in the rear berth of the cabin when not in use. Mast top mounted Windex, Removable cockpit seat and back cushions, Color matched fenders plus extra white fenders, Its Bottom painted. No leaks. This is a dry boat with self draining cockpit. This boat has as been sailed in fresh water only. Boat is easy to trail, and launch. Mast goes up and down easily. I have a 16 ft custom flat john boat with a 48 hp Johnson outboard. I use it primarily to fish with. The trailer is a 2007 shore lander. Features on the boat include trolling motor, depth finder with speed read out, bait well, bilge pump and navigation lighting. My wife and I had discussed selling it to get a larger boat. I was looking to get 4500-5000 out of it because I was going to let all the safety equipment, a second prop and other items go with it. Its a lot fancier than you average john boat. It has a steering console and throttle on the right hand side of the boat. 2 seats in the back and one at the nose with extensions for all 3 seats. The deck is flat metal with carpet on it. It tops out at 40 mph. I have documents for all work that has been done on it since I owned it. Believe it or not all the use it has had, I do not have a good picture. I would be happy to take serious inquiries out to see it in person; I keep it about 10 miles from my house. I recently had back surgery and have not brought my boat out of storage, however, it was running well when I put it away for the winter. Its a 2 cylinder 2 stroke, so it pushes our 14 aluminum Jon boat pretty easily. This thing has been very well maintained, and has only seen fresh water.We are selling it because the Occoquan Reservoir has a 10 hp restriction on outboards, and have already bought an 8 hp motor. $1600 OBO.I have more pictures, but they are too large to post. hello. I have a very nice 2001 yamaha xr1800 twin 155hp jet boat. It is in very good condition with only very minor defects in the looks and it runs perfect. It was just fully serviced and everything that was wrong or could go wrong was fixed or replaced for prevention and maintenence. The boat is very fast and handles like a dream. This is the 5th boat that i have owned and by far my favorite but as you can tell by it being my 5th boat i like to try new things. Well there is nothing wrong with the boat and the only reason why i would sell or trade the boat is to get a ski/wakeboard boat because my wife and i just started getting into wakeboarding or get a nice cabin cruizer.......mainly the ski boat...the only way i would get a cabin cruizer is if it is a good deal. I allways like to try new things and that is the reason for so many different boats. But if you would like more info on my boat or have a boat that you may be interested in tradeing then let me know. I have a 16 ft custom flat john boat with a 48 hp Johnson outboard. I use it primarily to fish with. The trailer is a 2007 shore lander. Features on the boat include trolling motor, depth finder with speed read out, bait well, bilge pump and navigation lighting. My wife and I had discussed selling it to get a larger boat. I was looking to get 4500-5000 out of it because I was going to let all the safety equipment, a second prop and other items go with it. Its a lot fancier than you average john boat. It has a steering console and throttle on the right hand side of the boat. 2 seats in the back and one at the nose with extensions for all 3 seats. The deck is flat metal with carpet on it. It tops out at 40 mph. I have documents for all work that has been done on it since I owned it. Believe it or not all the use it has had, I do not have a good picture. I would be happy to take serious inquiries out to see it in person; I keep it about 10 miles from my house. I recently had back surgery and have not brought my boat out of storage, however, it was running well when I put it away for the winter.
