I have a 1984 Honda Sabre V65. Otherwise known as the VF1100S. Overall bike is in OK shape. Has a clean and clear title ready to be signed over to you :) Bike has about 24,xxx miles which is amazing for a 25 year old bike. It works out to about 1000 miles a year and has never been wrecked or put down!The bike is not running and does need some work. to list a few things it needs new fork seal, a battery, the clutch master cylinder and some brake work as well as a little cleaning of the old stock parts. The gas tank has a very very minor hole in it about the size of a needle and could be repaired very easily or replaced for about $150 bucks. I have a key to the bike but it only works in the helmet lock. I have always wanted one of these bikes and finally I got one and realized....its just to damn big for me! So im open to trades for a smaller running bike or scooter to get back and forth to work on. Age is not really a problem just let me know what you got. Would like to trade my 1992 Kawasaki Concours for a Jeep Wrangler, CJ7, CJ5 or Scrambler. No Cherokees or anything else not mentioned in the previous sentence. I am looking for a jeep that runs well. Some rust is no problem and no top is not a problem. The bike is having the carbs reinstalled in the next couple of days as well as the radiator. The carbs were removed to be cleaned and replace float bowl gaskets and to check float levels and needles. The radiator was removed and professionally cleaned, pressure tested, and painted. All cooling hoses replaced a month ago. New battery. New fork seals and wipers(not installed yet). All gauges work and paint is in good shape (a blemish here and there). Seat from an 05 Concours. Tank was flushed and cleaned recently along with the petcock. No rust in tank. Will need new rear tire. Hard bags. One is cracked, but still usable. Also have a set of Cortech soft bags. Great sport tourer with 45,000 miles. Will run well past 100,000 with very little maintenance. Brakes are good. Adjustable clutch and brake lever. Two on the upper level and 1 on the main. UL 2 baths are commercial toilets flushing into the wall. All three toilets have minor problems and there are leaks to the room below in all of them I think. 1. #1 bath: water valve is not filling the tank.2. #2 bath: is a new low flush vacuum assisted toilet that does not flush well at all. 3. These two toilets sit back to back and I need the sewer piping T where they connect in the back to be repaired or replaced because I know it is cracked – probably the source of our leak. 4. #3 bath on the main level is over 15 years old and probably needs a new toilet. While the toilet flushes fine it hums like crazy for several minutes after you flush. In the basement below all three of these toilets there is a water leak. It is excessive at times and goes away at other times. Can’t figured it out. PLUMBING NEEDED FRANCONIA HOUSE: There is an outside spigot that leaks and can not be turned off. We need this repaired. I would also like to add a main water turn off valve right at the entrance to the crawl space where the pipes first enter the house. This location has easy access for both you to work and for us to turn the water off in an emergency. Currently there is no main cut off except at the street and you have to climb under the back of the house and turn each individual spigot off. We have a 25 acre outdoorsman vacation retreat where you can ride your ATVs, horses, fish, swim, relax, stay at the Lodge and enjoy the bunkhouse. . VACATION GETAWAY: The Cheyenne is your very own private 25 acre outdoorsman retreat sitting on the Appomattox River, geared for hunters, fisherman, ATVs and motorcyclists, horseback riders, hikers and mtn. bikers. The Cheyenne provides comfortable amenities in a serene and private setting. Sitting on the Appomattox River, this beautiful cedar home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen and a cozy great room with wood burning stove. Currently sleeps 8 comfortably. We also open Horsepower Haven, our sports lounge and bunkhouse, to all our Lodge guests. Currently the bunkhouse has a large sports room with pool table, air hockey table, ping-pong table, kids air hockey table, lounge, bedroom, and living room overlooking our Mini-MX track. The Cheyenne has a sandy /woodland trail system for horses, ATVs, or mountain bikers and hikers, and Mini-Me, a mini-MX track. Bring your horses, mountain bikes, motorcycles, canoe and hiking boots. We have some fenced pasture and we have begun cutting trails for horses, hiking, mountain bikes and motorcycles. You can bring your boat or jet skis because we are 45 minutes from either the James River or Smith Mountain lake. AC REPAIR NEEDS: AC needs repair at our Alexandria House. It was new when we bought the house 7 yrs ago so I dont think the unit is all that old. It wasnt cooling 3 years ago and it was repaired. It hasnt been used much in the last 3 yrs and now we turned it on and it isnt cooling. BARTER: I will be happy to pay for all materials & barter for labor or we can barter both labor and materials if they are minimal – whichever you prefer. We will offer you a certificate and you can use your certificate for any future vacation dates of your choice. Use them all at once or break them up into smaller getaways. We keep an account balance for those guys who do small jobs for us and they can let their account build until they have enough to take longer vacations. We are very flexible. BARTER PARTNERSHIP: I have built a team of professionals in several areas who barter their skills for vacation stays and riding privileges at the Cheyenne. They love it and most have had family getaways and longer vacations there several times. Although my concern is that we solve our plumbing problems quickly, it is my goal to build an ongoing professional relationship with a plumber that is interested in a continued partnership.
