Metro rail is 10 minutes away (either Dunn Loring or East Falls Church)- The kitchen is pretty nice with relatively new cabinets, and granite countertops. - The place has carpet mostly, so its soft on your feet. - There is a separate closet for the full sized washer and dryer. - Your bathroom would be the hall bathroom pretty nice. - Your room is 11’x11’ and has a large closet.- The landscaping around the grounds are some of the best I’ve seen in any garden style apartment community.ABOUT ME: - I am a straight 26 year old male that likes things pretty quiet. I dont drink that much, go out that much (I am social, I swear, its just that I work a lot), I have about 1 friend over a week and maybe a group of 8 once a quarter for poker. Im out of grad school. I love crabs and beer and now that its summer this is a good thing. That’s about it, Im just a relatively normal human being. ABOUT YOU: - Id prefer someone in their 20s. 1 large basement bedroom (with private bath) available in an awesome/quiet neighborhood in Falls Church/Arlington between Lee Highway and Washington Boulevard. The basementis renovated and in great shape. This is very a nice room. The East Falls Church metro is about 3/4 of a mile away (less than a 15 minute walk) and I-66 is just a bit further than that. Its a very quiet neighborhood that is convenient to Ballston, Clarendon and virtually all of Arlington. The house has 4 bedrooms (one of them in the basement), 2 bathrooms, living room/dining room, refinished basement that we use as a den, and a big backyard. We have a washer/dryer and an extra full refrigerator in the basement. There is unlimited free street parking. The backyard is perfect for cookouts and we have a horseshoe pit. We are 3 laid back guys who are easy to get along with. We typically take it easy during the week and have been known to throw down on the weekends. The cost is $825 for the very large basement bedroom (with private bathroom) plus utilities. Utilities typically run around $100 each per month (some months it is higher due to quarterly water bill and higher electric usage). We have Direct TV (including Sunday NFL ticket) and Comcast wireless internet. The house is pretty much fully setup with entertainment and furniture. The new person would only need bedroom stuff. Renting out a Spacious bedroom with 4 Large Windows (Approx. 28” X 60”) in 1924 Farm House. The room is furnished with a single bed, a dresser with a mirror, & a rocking chair. Other furniture is available to put in what you want…or if you want less furniture that is a choice also. The yard is ¾ of an acre that backs up on the W & D bike path. There is a long driveway with plenty of space to park next to the house. The house is approximately ¼ to ½ mile from the East Falls Church Metro ( 5min bike ride 15 min walk), and about the same to either of the 66 entrances and 8 to 10 min to McLean. The house is located within the City Limits of the City of Falls Church. It is a 3 to 4 bedroom house, but I do not want to rent anymore rooms out to avoid too much commotion. A full bathroom in shared upstairs and has never been a problem. (1/2 one downstairs too) I do have two cats so really do not want other pets . Rent is $850.00 per month as long as you help some around the house and yard some. As far as utilities go you would pay 1/3 unless you are at the house more than the average person. Rent is $490 a month plus 1/3 of utilities (rent is so cheap because the landlady is old and thinks this is 1980). Lease is open-ended but were asking for at least a year commitment. Room is available starting July 1st, but we can push the move-in date back a little if need be. About us - were 2 male professionals in our mid-20s, looking for a clean and respectful male roommate. I have a three bedroom house in Falls Church, with a huge backyard, beautiful kitchen, and essentially two living rooms. I am looking for someone to move in to the house in July or August. You would be more than welcome to have access to two of the three bedrooms as I only need the one. The house has a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The house is already wired for FIOS as well. I have a cat and a dog who are both small and very friendly. I am looking for someone quiet and clean that does not mind animals. Utilities run anywhere from 100-300 a month depending on the season.
