Rent is $750 plus monthly utilities, which when divided, are around $150. You would also have a private bath. The townhouse itself is a beautiful end unit, with lots of sunshine, new deck, and fenced in yard. Close to 66, 50, 29, 28, Fair Lakes, Fair Oaks, and Fairfax Corner!A little bit about me, I am a 27 year old teacher in Fairfax County, enjoy having other people around, but am not looking for a best friend, clean, responsible, and have a 9 month old boxer puppy, but you would not have to worry about ever taking care of her. | Hey Everyone!!!!So I am a 22 year old female living in a two bedroom apartment in Fairfax, VA. Unfortunately my current roommate has decided to move home because she has recently finished her degree. That being said, I am looking for another awesome roomie. The apartment is a two bedroom with a shared bathroom, kitchen and living area. There is a washer/dryer, Fios TV in the living room, and wireless internet. Location wise, the apartment is an addition to the back of my landlords home but no worries; he cant get into the apartment and likewise we cannot get into the main house. There is a side entrance to the apartment and unless shown where the apartment is, you probably wouldnt even know it was there. So as you can guess, its nice and quiet and no one bothers us, lol. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, single family residential community that I have come to love in the two years I have lived here. The space is fully furnished and very girly, you would only have to furnish your bedroom. For those GMU students, the Fairfax campus in literally in the backyard. Now, about the whole money part. | The townhouse is a 3 level, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms with fresh paint and mouldings throughout the interior which gives it a lot of personality. There are bay windows which gives a lot of sunlight into the house, and there is also a backyard. Theres a track behind the house for anyone who likes to run/jog for exercise. The place is available for move-in now, and leasing terms are negotiable. It takes about 5-10 minutes driving to get onto 66, and about 15 minutes to get to 495 or the metro (Vienna metro.) Please no summer interns, leasing terms are flexible but looking for a 6-12 month lease. The room available is going for $550. The room has new fresh paint inside, a large closet, and can fit a queen sized bed w/ bookshelf and desk. The bathroom is shared with a female. Utilities are not included and will be split amongst 4 roommates. Shy or gregarious, straight, bi, gay or unicorn, smoker or not, drinker or not, we will respect you and your defects; we only ask in return that you respect ours. So heres the rub:Single: We need a drama-free guy/girl (unless, of course, the drama is entertaining) who can handle $600 +1/3 utilities. The room itself is spacious enough to fit a queen sized bed, a desk, a dresser, and has a large closet. The room is available and open now!The tenants currently living here are a male and two females in their early and mid 20s. We all get along, and live in a drama-free household. We sometimes hang out and go out to DC lounges/bars but we also have our own lives and schedules too. We have all met on craigslist and so far the living situation has been great. We are all thoughtful and try to keep the place pretty clean and are courteous towards each other. We havent known each other for that long yet so the fourth roomie who moves in shouldnt feel left out, we are a fun bunch to be around and welcoming. Please keep in mind that the people currently living here have 8-5 schedules and are working professionals, so weekdays are to be more low-key. There are four bedrooms, three are currently occupied by students and professions who are in their early and mid 20s, two females and a male. I currently occupy 2 rooms one for me and my sons share another. There is no washer or dryer but there is a place for it. The house has 2 full baths one in my room that me and my children share. and the other one is on the other side of the house. Im not a party animal but my kids are active. Im definitely not a neat freak but I dont really make too much of a mess. My kids toys are basically the biggest mess. I dont cook much, my mother comes over and helps with that once in a while, but other than that me and my kids live off of milk and cereal lol! But yea Im pretty laid back nothing out of the ordinary. Whoever wants the rooms can take both or one. I prefer for someone to take both. Its a nice house at the intersection of fairfax county pkwy and braddock rd. Like I said its just me and my two boys I work alot but there is usually somebody here watching my kids ie little brother of mine. Also we have a very big yard. No furniture for the renter but the living room has a half moon leather couch set and I have a 37\" floating flat screen, I have a ps3 and alot of dvds. There is dining room table. and some miscellaneous stuff around. Basically the house is what you would expect from a young father of two. I pay to have the yard maintained since it is so big. We like to do things outdoors and are excited to take our dogs into the mountains in NC and West Virginia for little weekend getaway trips.Helgas dogs are her world...and I like them a lot too :) Her dogs are about 60 pounds each and are named Bella and Oscar. Bella is a 5 year old Chow/lab/mutt dog. This dog is dangerous. She once almost licked me to death haha. Bella is a lover and is friendly with everyone. Oscar is a 4 year old pitbull. Its a shame the pitbull breed has such a bad rep (because of how bad owners raise them) because Oscar is like a puppy. All he wants to do is play. He loves to run outside, play fetch, and curl up next to Helga and I when we go to sleep. He thinks hes a puppy still. A 60 pound puppy. haha. Helga takes care of these dogs better than herself. They are her children.
