I am a 20 year-old female who currently attends NOVA and works close to full-time as a veterinary assistant/ technician. I have 2 cats and one dog, all of whom are spayed/ neutered, fully house-broken, and friendly to both people and other creatures. I would like to find a place that will accept both myself and my pets. I would also like to live with others close to my age, perhaps other students or young professionals, who will return my favor of being a kind, respectful roommate. I am responsible, mature, clean, and trustworthy. I will be able to afford, at most, $500 a month, including utilities (water, electric, internet, etc). I do not have a problem with occasional parties or get-togethers, but I am in no way looking to live in a frat house. I dont smoke, so others who dont either, or who partake outside would be lovely. I am relocating to Manassas from Annapolis at/around the 31st of May. I am looking for a month to month lease and dont anticipate needing to rent a room for more than three or four months. Of course, this could go longer than this time as Im pretty certain I need to sell my house in Annapolis prior to buying a place here.Im looking more or less for a place to sleep at night and relax. I got rid of most of my furniture recently so Im down to my large collection of books, vinyl records, and dvds which Im happy to share. I love hunting down cool furniture, fixing it up, or building my own. I have many photographs that Ive taken all over the country and world so we can print some up for the place. I also enjoy music...I play didgeridoos, just picked up the guitar, and use software sampling and recording devices to play around with on the computer. Im interested in a lot of different creative endeavors and Im pretty easy to live with. I dont party too much but I dont mind if others do. Im not looking for a party house but Im not a neat freak or anal busybody (I know youve been reading these ads.) I do enjoy meeting new people, having many different friends, and everything that goes with that, like cooking for people and hosting get-togethers. Im open to move anytime in the next month or two. I dread finding another room with strangers and starting this process all over again. I want to find a stable place with good people. There are some really nice 2 and 3 bedroom apartments around Centreville and Fairfax that are affordable, especially for three people. If we can spend 600 or 700 a piece we should have no problems. Some of these apartment complexes and home owners are beginning to realize that prices are coming down and are willing to make a deal. If we team up we will be in a much better position.
