Room is available Monday July 13th.I am a 36yr-old WM working professional and dual master’s student looking for a responsible m/f roommate. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have decided to put the second room up for rent. This is a spacious apartment measuring in at nearly 1200sq-ft. The complex has a gym, pool, car washing station, garages (extra $ if you want one) a shopping plaza within 5 minutes walking distance and plenty of Italian, Chinese and other restaurants close by. There is a patio overlooking a woodsy area for relaxation time. The Dulles Greenway is 2min away and 28 is about 10min. Loudon County has a bus service but I don’t know much about it or where the stops are.You will get your own private bathroom (shower/bath and linen closet) a HUGE walk-in closet and a very nice bedroom measuring 11’x14’6”. We will share the living room and kitchen. The apartment also has a full laundry room next to the kitchen (look at the floor plan below) that we will also share. The living room has a nice fireplace where I keep my LCD tv on top of.Utilities are NOT included- you will have to pay for electric, gas and water. I like it on the cool side (about 72) but keep the shades drawn in the summer so the bill isn’t too high. The electric normally runs $40 to $60, the gas is about $35 and the water is about $15 (all per month of course). I have FIOS tv and internet (no phone line- I just have a cell phone) so if you want access to that it will split to about $65. Rent doesn’t come out evenly for the month but it is $667.5 ($8,010 for yr) (which I rounded up to $670 for the ad title), unless it goes up as deemed by apt complex.What I require…You must be clean.Non-smokerNo pets (cats/dogs)You must speak English well, (I don’t want a roommate I can’t have conversations with).You must be honest and respectful of space and belongings.Be willing to contribute to cleaning shared areas and shared necessities (trash bags, etc…)NO loud music/tv/parties/instruments etc…An occasional friend is fine, this is a good size apartment for 2 people but more than that is crowded.I have had many roommates and have become good friends with all of them. I try to match up with someone who generally has the same interests as me because things tend to go a bit smoother then. With that said I will require that we meet a few times before a lease is signed.Please only inquire if you are serious, otherwise don’t waste my time as it is important to me and I won’t waste your time.About the pictures: I am currently using the walk-in closet as storage, I will move that stuff out when you move in. Also a friend is staying for the summer while finishing up an internship in DC, they will be moving out in 2 weeks hence the air mattress on the floor. I’m looking for a non-smoker, clean, young professional who is past the college party phase. The room is nice with a closet and window and shares a bathroom with another person, although she is NEVER there! The house is beautiful and in a great family neighborhood. Right across the street is a large shopping center with Harris Teeter grocery store, Caribou Coffee, Cold Stone Creamery, Subway, several restaurants and a super nice 16 screen new movie theater. The house has high speed wireless internet (verizon fios) and plenty of parking, so no stupid parking passes. My roommates and I are very clean and respectful young female professionals. We are very laid back and work a traditional 8-5 job. I also have an awesome and literally perfect dog and a spoiled rotten cat, so you must be okay with pets!! They are absolutely wonderful... She is almost NEVER there though! The house is beautiful and in a great family neighborhood. Right across the street is a large shopping center with Harris Teeter grocery store, Caribou Coffee, Cold Stone Creamery, Subway, several restaurants and a super nice 16 screen new movie theater. The house has high speed wireless internet (verizon fios) and plenty of parking, so no stupid parking passes. My roommates and I are very clean and respectful young female professionals. We are very laid back and work a traditional 8-5 jobs. I also have an awesome and literally perfect dog and a spoiled rotten cat, so you must be okay with pets!! They are absolutely wonderful... Available June 1st.The loft is a very large room and features a private bath. The townhouse is approx. 4000 square feet and has 5.5 bathrooms. It was a new home I purchased in 2007. 3 other people live in the house, 2 guys and one girl. We are all full time working professionals. I am 26 and own the home, the other tenants are in a similar age range.Ideal person would be full time working professional, students considered. It is a really large home, and with 4 people in the home everyone still has their own level of the house and their own bathroom, so you have plenty of privacy. As a landlord I feel I am very reasonable. All I am looking for is someone who does not leave a mess in the kitchen and laundry rooms, as these are the only spaces in the house we all share. Honestly this is probably the nicest room in the house to rent. It is really big, and has two sets of double windows that let in a lot of natural light. The guy leaving didnt give any notice, but it was probably for the best as he was the only one who caused problems with taking other peoples food in the kitchen. I pay for a maid service to come in and clean the entire house once a month. I provide trashbags, paper towels and soap for the kitchen. The rent price includes all of this along with the utilities. I have found that it just does not work to get tenants to pay for other costs incurred in the house and its better to factor this into the rent. I do not provide dishes, pots, food, drinks or anything else like that. If you are the type of person who steals food and such this will not work. Otherwise I think it is a great place, the only people it has not worked for are tenants who have had issues respecting the kitchen area really.Age, gender, sexual orientaion are all irrelevant as long as your are clean. First months rent and security desposit of same amount ($750) due at time of lease signing. If there are no issues, I am cool with using the deposit for the last months rent. The room will be available for the forseeable future. I am flexible on lease duration with a minimum in the 4-6 month range.I will be happy to arrange a showing of the house / room if you are interested and sound like a good fit.No pets, outside smoking OK. Available June 1st.The loft is a very large room and features a private bath. The townhouse is approx. 4000 square feet and has 5.5 bathrooms. It was a new home I purchased in 2007. 3 other people live in the house, 2 guys and one girl. We are all full time working professionals. I am 26 and own the home, the other tenants are in a similar age range.Ideal person would be full time working professional, students considered. It is a really large home, and with 4 people in the home everyone still has their own level of the house and their own bathroom, so you have plenty of privacy. As a landlord I feel I am very reasonable. All I am looking for is someone who does not leave a mess in the kitchen and laundry rooms, as these are the only spaces in the house we all share. Honestly this is probably the nicest room in the house to rent. It is really big, and has two sets of double windows that let in a lot of natural light. The guy leaving didnt give any notice, but it was probably for the best as he was the only one who caused problems with taking other peoples food in the kitchen. I pay for a maid service to come in and clean the entire house once a month. I provide trashbags, paper towels and soap for the kitchen. The rent price includes all of this along with the utilities. I have found that it just does not work to get tenants to pay for other costs incurred in the house and its better to factor this into the rent. I do not provide dishes, pots, food, drinks or anything else like that. If you are the type of person who steals food and such this will not work. Otherwise I think it is a great place, the only people it has not worked for are tenants who have had issues respecting the kitchen area really.Age, gender, sexual orientaion are all irrelevant as long as your are clean. First months rent and security desposit of same amount ($750) due at time of lease signing. If there are no issues, I am cool with using the deposit for the last months rent. The room will be available for the forseeable future. I am flexible on lease duration with a minimum in the 4-6 month range.I will be happy to arrange a showing of the house / room if you are interested and sound like a good fit.No pets, outside smoking OK.
