Energy Efficiency SpecialistThe Energy Services team at Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to support program evaluation and other energy efficiency-related activities as part of the Market Intelligence practice. Potential assignments include promoting utility energy efficiency programs; evaluating energy efficiency of buildings, equipment, appliances, lighting, or HVAC systems. General Responsibilities:• Collect data, conduct research and analysis.• Create and develop marketing, public awareness, and outreach campaigns.• Conduct stakeholder interviews.• Design and implement surveys.• Write reports and memos.• Interact with clients, representing Cadmus’ work and interests.Requirements:• BS/BA required, advanced degree preferred.• Knowledge of programs targeted to low-income audiences is a plus.• 3-6 years of relevant work experience related to energy efficiency.• Knowledge of energy efficiency program design or evaluation is a plus.• Advanced quantitative skills and knowledge of Excel.• Excellent written and oral communications skills.• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.This position is based in our Arlington, Virginia office and may require travel. Entry Level EngineerThe Cadmus Group, Inc. is seeking entry-level engineers for our Green Building practice with special interest in building sciences and operations. Candidates should have a background in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial, or civil engineering. Daily activities include reviewing standards and codes, creating and manipulating spreadsheets and databases, working with standard software packages to benchmark building energy use, offering technical support to organizations, and writing reports and other documents. Another key component of this position is working with LEED Accredited Professionals (AP) to review designs and operational practices in new and existing buildings for maximum sustainability.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver who is able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced consulting environment. Minimum requirements:• B.S. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering• Interest in green building and sustainability• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proven analytical skills• Ability to work well independently and in teams• Basic knowledge of the five areas of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Rating System™, (subsequent training will be provided upon hire)Optional but desirable attributes:• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®)Accredited Professionals (LEED AP), Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQ), CSDP, or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) accreditations This position is located in our Arlington, VA office. Autocad Tutor needed for Landscape Architect. Preferable that you are a Landscape Architect or have worked in a Landscape Architects office and are familiar with best practices.
