Hello, I have a 1998 Pontiac Transport/Montana that sounds like it has spun a cam bearing. It's still a nice looking vehicle inside and out, dual sliding doors and seats 7. It is still running but sounds like bolts in a blender with loud squeek noises. I did make it home (about 12 miles) after this happened and now start it just to move for mowing. I have too many projects and don't have the time to fix this one. This would make a nice parts vehicle, all seats came out of a 2002 Venture, all the glass is good etc. Or if you have the time/desire/talent to fix it, would be a nice van again. I put crappy tires on it (they do hold air) and removed the radio.
