I have a vintage Mele jewelry box for sale. It reads Mele on the back and is a cream color on the outside with a bright red velvet material in the inside. The box measures about 11\" long by 8\" wide by just a little over 3\" high. I say it is from around the 1960s. Comes from a smoke free house. Great shape for its age.
