I have a set of bunk beds that I am selling. They are very sturdy, all wood. We bought new beds for our boys, so we no longer need these. They both have bookshelf headboards. There are some stickers here and there on the bottom bunk from my son, but they do come off. I just dont have the time or patience to do it! They are scratched up from normal use , as well, but mainly in spots that are hidden from the ladder and the side rails. You can see the scratches and stickers in the photo. You can also easily touch them up with the wood pens sold at walmart for $5. Comes with the ladder and two bedrails for the top bunk. We paid $850 plus tax and delivery for the set 5 years ago. We are happy to offer you this vintage child size wooden slat folding chair. There are no identifying marks on the piece but I’m estimating the chair to be from the 1940’s. The back has 4 vertical slats and the seat has 8 vertical slats. Each slat is 7/8” wide.The chair measures:· Height from top of back to floor: 23”· Height from seat to floor: 11”· Width of Seat: 10”· Width of Back: 11 7/8”The chair is in great shape with no chips or breaks, or missing hardware. There are a few scuffs from normal wear and use. Also, there are several spots of paint or what looks like paint on the piece. These could very well be removed. We have for you this adorable antique child size Morris chair. It was purchased by one of our consignors for their grandchild several years ago from an antique shop. Now that the child has outgrown it they want to pass it on for another little one to enjoy.This chair is original and has had no refinishing done to it. It is child size but am not sure if it was made especially for children or was actually a salesman sample. I have searched and have yet to be able to find another chair identical to it. It resembles Morris child chairs made during the early 1900s by Heywood Brothers-Wakefield. I found the spindles and the casting of the back-racks to appear the same but other aspects to be different. So, with no markings I cannot say for sure if this is actually from this era. Many of these early chairs had paper labels and over the years they fell off as Im sure happened with this one.The chair has the following measurements:· Height w/Back in Straight Position- 28\" Tall· Length from Front of Arm to Back of Arm- 22 3/4\"· Height from Arm to Floor- 18\" Tall· Height from Seat to Floor- 8 1/4\" Tall· Seat Back- 12 1/8\" WideFor support there are six spindles on each side that are arranged with three spindles then a 2 1/4\" space and then another three spindles.The back has five horizontal slats. It will recline in 4 positions when the solid brass rod is moved into the different slots of the back racks.This chair also has four casters that are made of wood. Upon inspection we feel that one of the casters has been replaced as it is about 1/8” larger in diameter than the other three. This caster is shown in the very last picture. But please note, the chair does sit flat on the floor.The cushions are not the original cushions but are professionally upholstered cushions in a tapestry fabric that has an oriental theme. The main color is a tan/beige with muted tones in the design. The bottom cushion is square to fit the bottom and the back cushion is made in a pillow like fashion.There are a few flaws to mention. On the front edge of the left arm is a chip/crack that can be seen partly in the front and goes to the underside of the arm. This is well pictured for you. Then there is the one caster that I have already pointed out. The only other negative to mention is that the chair is a bit wobbly and needs to be tightened. Other than that are just some general scuff and scratches from use and wear.This is a great find and whoever wins it will not be disappointed.
