Stunning Virginia Metalcrafters solid sand cast brass Medallion Tie Back in perfect condition. I have 16 total. These were made by a highly reputable Shenandoah Valley, Virginia manufacturer of fine brass products. "The design of the Medallion Tie Back was inspired by the French Empire style..icanthus and laurel leaves were used as decorative symbols of glory and triumph" (quoted from the label). VM products are now collectors items since this fine company went out of business several years ago. These brass medallion tie backs are difficult to find. Tie Backs are used to drape swags, embellish valances, to hold back curtains with a tassel or cord, or to hang wall tapestries. 4.5" in diameter with 3" holdback. $30.00 each, $55.00/set of 2.
