This fine antique phonograph is exactly the same today as it was when I got it in 1963 and still plays beautifully -- for a machine that's 112 years old! (The latest patent date is 1897.) There is some obvious pot metal wear, but none that affects mechanical operation or playability. The horn, crane, and crank are not original but they came with it 46 years ago and have served well for these many years. The case and decal graphic (banner) are in remarkable condition with only one small veneer defect on the lid. The sound is loud and clear; the motor runs smoothly. Other Graphophone Type AT machines have sold recently for more than $500 so, at this price, no records are included.
