I will take best offer !!! I acquired this very heavy cast iron stove from an estate sale about 4 years ago. I was told that it was used in a rural school house in Tennessee in the 1930's. So I'm told. This story is probably true because I know that these kinds of stoves were used in stores, schools, and other public places back then. It has warmed my small covered patio on chilly fall & winter nights through the years with so much heat that only a light jacket was needed, even if it was snowing outside!! I hate to sell it, but I'm downsizing. It was freshly painted shiny black with silver chrome painted trim when I bought it. It wasn't a very professional paint job because through the years, the paint has faded. In some places I can tell it was painted a matte clay pot color before the previous owner painted it black. It needs to be completely sandblasted & repainted to properly preserve it. I have kept it covered and protected from weather and rain, so it is amazingly preserved as for rust etc., especially on the inside of stove. Nashville, TN" in raised lettering along the middle rim Marked "BREHWEL 2 219E JUNO" on the cast iron wood grate Marked "NO. 217" on very top of stove Air flow door opens perfectly with intact hinges, silver knob turns to open or close air holes and closes tightly shut Bottom door where wood or coal is placed has intact hinges and closes tightly shut Wood grate is in wonderful condition Decorative curved legs are intact and sturdy Rare to find these stoves in such well preserved condition....I have seen some entirely rusted beyond restoration. Please rescue and restore this fabulous piece of history for me and give it a great new home!
