2 antique "steamer" trunks in fair condition for sale. $75.00 takes both. One larger and one smaller.. both good size! here is the information I have regarding the trunks from the previous owner.. "bought about 7 years ago at anEstate sale -- in Springfield , ME. It was called the 'Love' house afterthe family that lived there. Apparently the house was just full ofbeautiful old antiques - and I guess two sisters (the Love's) had livedthere until the second one died in a nursing home - after the first sisterhad died and the other had been moved to the nursing home; the the housestayed empty for a long (I have only lived there 13 years so am not sureof the time frame) time - but it would be opened up on special weekends(Memorial and Labor Day) for tours. We had a friend who used to clean forthe sisters and then before the tours and said that the house was justlike stepping back in time; beautiful antiques and in pristine condition. I'm not sure what changed but they suddenly had an outdoor auction..."
