This is a noriginal Gambina doll from New Orleans. She is very unusual as she was made without legs because this doll was made to be placed on a shelf or a bed. A nice piece of Black Americana. She is complete with original stand. Just a flat platform. See picture. Head and arms are made of rubber, upper body is made of hard plastic. Her head swivels from side to side and her beautiful brown eyes close when she lies down and open when sitting up. Her arms are moveable. She measures about 7" tall when placed on a shelf. The Doll and the clothes are in very good condition considering she has sat on a shelf for years.
