We are happy to offer you this antique pair of binoculars from Imperial Optical Co. Paris. The barrels are covered with a leather that is rather scuffed but for the most part still well intact. With the center dial, the eye pieces move in or out to focus. No markings anywhere to indicate the the magnification. It measures approximately 4 1/2" W x 4 1/4" T x 2" D at the largest end of the lens.
Please note that due to age, there are some issues with this piece. On the inside of the right barrel the leather is coming loose at the seam. But, this could easily be glued back. Also, some of the leather shows scuffing and discoloration. On the inside of the right large lens there is some discoloration on the lens itself that is an oval that is about 1 1/2" X 1/2". So, when you look the the eye piece there is a blurry spot that you see.
The original case, or what is left of it will be included but it is in very poor condition. It still has the lid and the body but the base is gone as are the straps that close the lid. It is a brown leather.
I do have more pictures so please email me if you would like to see them.
