I have two (2) cases of 24 each 1/2 pint milk bottles. Each case of 24 @ 250.00 One is from The Purity Milk Co. in it's original wooden and wire case from Purity Dairies out of Lewistown, Pa. The other is from a dairy named Harshbarger. The bottles and cases are both in excellent shape. The bottles are painted with red ink and are from the J.E. Harshbarger Dairy which seem to be closely tied to the Pennsylvania Railroad. I'm guessing that historically they may have been served on the railroad dining cars. More photos upon request.
