This is a very nice collectible ashtray in perfect condition with no chips cracks or crazing. The writing reads: Colt Peacemaker .47 Cal. 1873 "The Peacemaker. The traditional arm of the Old West. Was the first heavy revolver made by colt to use self exploding cartridges. This wonderful weapon, closely linked with the romantic sagas of frontier days, was manufactured until just a few yuears ago."
