5-string DeArmond bass. Red stained and lacquered, and in great shape. Plays and sounds good--quite a variety of sounds with 5 knobs (volume, pickup blend, high, mid, low). Active electronics and super-quiet operation. I'm just not interested in the extra low string anymore. It comes with a black soft case (with backpack straps and a large pocket) and a new set of strings, unopened. Bought it 8 years ago for $450 and took great care of it (kept it in its case when not in use). $250 cash takes it, or make me an offer.
