This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Wahso Chan was born in Canton, China in 1911. Chan came to California with his family in 1912. He earned a teaching degree from UC Berkeley and further studied at the CSFA in 1929-32. During the Depression he worked as a recreation leader for the WPA. He was just beginning to do some of his finest painting when he was crushed to death between two trucks in San Francisco's Chinatown on June 27, 1937.

Hanging wall art molded directly from the female body.
This is a very beautiful and unique piece with the look of aged bronze patina.
I am the artist that created this and it's one of my favorite pieces. This piece, as it is, is a one of a kind original. The piece has a bit of a story. It was the first cast from a new mold. I was a bit anxious and it broke (the lower part of the body) during the demolding process. But the way it broke makes it look more like an artifact. One of those happy mistakes. I'll also include another link to the piece in it's entirety, which is a little more explicit.. Another interesting side note is that the model passed out on me during the body molding process. Happy to say, both the mold and the model survived. A bit scary though.
The photograph does not show the full metallic shimmer, depth and patina as seeing the piece in person.

Charles Keeling Lassiter was born in New York in 1926. He received a degree in sociology from Yale University and in art education from New York University. He has subsequently devoted his time exclusively to painting and writing poetry. Each photo lies beneath poured acrylic and the handwritten text of the poem. The poem consists of 28 lines with each piece illustrating a specific line. All are hand framed with rich red paint and gold leaf.
Piece measures 10 ft wide x 5 ft high.
This piece hung in our loft and later in a gallery/wine bar in SOMA. We no longer have the space for this size of a piece.

Pegasus - by Robert Hoppe - Art Deco Print (santa rosa) $50
Pegasus by Robert Hoppe. Art Deco lithographic poster published by Mirage Editions in 1988 and printed for only 90 days printing plates then destroyed. It has a gold colored metal frame with custom matting. Glass was cracked during a move so it was removed as to not damage the piece.
