Retro fitted U-Boat/ Military Tugs with Twin jet drives Hi, I have two military tugs for sale. They are basically identical except that one has gas motors running 454’s and Dowdy jets. The other runs Ford Saber diesels power package. They are both twin jets, run and are functional. The hulls are aluminum, and we have made custom aluminum cabins for each tug. Length 32ft Width 7.6 ft The cabins are well designed and allow good visibility. The cabin has a twin bunk/sitting area, forward driving station, hynautic steering, sliding windows, interior lights, diesel heater and breaker panel. The outside of the cabin has roof mounted deck lights, roof mounted hand rail, sliding door/swinging door and an antenna/radar/light bar. The deck included: side rails, cleats, forward pusher bars, tow bar and a swim step that doubles as protection for the jet drives. Each boat has approximately a two hundred gallon fuel tank. Each boat has the original cradle platforms that came with the boat. I imagine these were use for transportation on trains, trucks and airplanes. One of the cradle platforms has been turned into a trailer, the other is just the original cradle.
