I have a 454 Chevy engine that I've been saveing for a future progect that has never happened. It came out of a 76 GMC Pu that was a Spirit of 76 truck. I was told that the engine had been replaced with a new crate motor in 80. The build date reflects that also, the number tag is empty under the rt head. And that the new engine had only 65,000 miles. I also have the th 400 trans. I have never started the engine but have turned it over several times. It comes complete with carb, starter, distributer and power steering pump. It should be ready for your project, $1000. or maybe a trade that I might be interested in, motorcycle, jet ski, jet boat, camper, etc, just keep in mind I'm 59 yrs old so no X boxes or crap like that.
