Graco Infant Safe Seat-- purchased in October 2006-- no recalls (yes, I checked) This is a rear-facing ONLY carseat that holds children up to 30 lbs and 32 inches. Our daughter used it for over a year. It locks into the bases (we had one in each car) making it an easy system if both parents share driving responsibilities. We found it very easy to install in our Xterra and Honda CR-V. 5-point harness, LATCH equipped. Our daughter came home from the hospital in this seat at 7lbs and 19.5". We bought this seat as most children outgrow their "infant" seat well before their first birthday... we definitely got our money's worth. Absolutely no accidents, non-smoking home. The pad was washed before the seat was put away. It still has plenty of wear-- we just aren't planning on more kids. I would never sell a carseat that was compromised. I just found out our crib had a recall and am taking steps to destroy it. Children's safety is very important to me! With this seat we are selling the two matching bases (one for each car, or one for the grandparents, or however you see fit!) (One base came with the seat, the other we purchased seperately) We are also selling the SnugRider stroller we have to go along with it. You simply snap the carseat into the stroller and go. Very easy. We are selling it all for $125 (for the full set). If you were to buy it all new it would cost over $250.
