This is a Fender MIM Stratocaster with a transparent natural wood finish, S/S/S pickup configuration, and maple neck w/ maple fingerboard and black dot inlays. This is an excellent guitar, with a low, smooth action, and the versatility to be suitable for blues and rock of all forms. The only (purely aesthetic) problem with this guitar is that the finish is cracked in several places. Please note that these cracks are surface cracks; they do not go through the finish and in to the wood, and they do not effect the playability of the guitar in any way, shape, or form. Beautiful, great sounding classical thin guitar with cutaway and electronics. Very comfortable to play with authentic classical guitar tone even though its a bit thinner than a conventional classical. I have two 3/4 size 1995 copies of the Antonius Stradivarius faciebat Cremona 1713. The lacquer on the first one is in perfect condition and there are no chips in the finish anywhere. This in an immaculate instrument and it comes in a very nice hardshell case. The lacquer on the second one is in very good condition with only a few tiny chips in the finish near the f-hole and also has a hardshell case. My nephews long ago outgrew these and having no other young relatives to give them to, I have decided to sell them. The horse-hair on both bows is in very fine shape and both instruments come with a block of rosin. I have included with this ad, the 4 best pictures that I have taken. If you would like to see the other five pictures, or would like a close-up of a particular part, let me know and Ill try to e-mail those off in a timely fashion. I compared prices of this model with identical violins on the internet as well as some in the local pawn shops around South-Central Alaska. I found a few very nice ones on the internet comparable in quality to this one for $300.00 to $400.00 each. The ones I found in pawn shops are sadly lacking the luster this instrument has because they hang out in the open dry air and light all the time, and are subjected to the periodic mishandlings of all kinds of grubby careless hands that wander by. You will certainly find cheaper instruments elsewhere, but you wont find any nicer for the price. $200.00 and $175.00 respectively or $350.00 for both. Firm. Serial numbers are almost sequential.
