| Hattenburg Dilley & Linnell, LLC, (HDL) Engineering Consultants, is seeking licensed Professional Civil Engineers with water, wastewater, airport, or road design experience. Requirements include BSCE and PE license with minimum 4 years civil engineering experience. Alaska license is preferred. Must have ability to write/review project proposals; develop plans and specifications; develop and maintain job budgets and contracts and work with local and state specifications and design standards. The positions are full-time and permanent, stationed in either our Anchorage or Palmer office. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and enjoy interfacing with clients, leading project teams, mentoring staff, marketing services, and be willing to travel in Alaska on short assignments. The District Engineer is responsible for engineering services required to improve & maintain the Association’s electrical distribution system. Duties: Design of overhead & underground distribution extensions & system improvements. Prepares design & planning documents, contract documents, studies cost estimates or other higher level eng tasks. Supervises work of assigned personnel. Qualifications: requires outstanding communication, teamwork, & interpersonal skills. BSEE & min 5 years related exp. Additional related experience in the electric utility distribution area may be substituted for education on year for year basis. Must have State of AK PE, or ability to acquire within 24-months of date of hire. Prefer prior experience which evidences responsible engineering in electrical distribution facilities or related areas. Valid Alaska driver’s license & acceptable driving record.
