Growing Commercial Construction Company seeks full time bookkeeper/office manager. To be considered you MUST be VERY experienced with Master Builder software. You will be responsible for all of the office work so you have to be a very organized person. Experienced bookkeeper position available. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four years experience full service bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and generally accepted accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office software and extensive experience QuickBooks Pro software. Bachelors Degree required, but in some cases experience may be substituted for degree. GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Bookkeeper provides confidential financial support for our company. The position is primarily responsible for day to day financial record keeping. The bookkeeper is responsible for ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately. Qualified candidate must be experienced in the use of relevant software programs such as spreadsheets and databases, and be meticulous with details. The ability to cooperate and collaborate with employees, vendors, and clients is essential. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide accounting services including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile monthly bank accounts. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for accountant. Maintain invoice system, prepare monthly or quarterly invoices and track payments. Maintain complete financial files. Assist with preparation of financial audit. Back-up support for front desk. Other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares cash deposits, reconciles cash transactions to sales journal and maintains cash Maintains appropriate till banks, change orders, and over/short log.
