Nice 4 Br house, Split level, upstairs/downstairs, 2200 sf, deck with lilac trees, downstairs available, approx. 1000 sf, 2 br downstairs, large den, Washer/dryer down there, lots of shelves and cabinets, workbench, pretty well furnished, nice German Shrunk wall unit. Still cleaning however, as wife ran off and house is a shambles at this point. Help clean, knock off rent a little. 300 security deposit and 1/3 of utilities. Prefer non smoking female, but will consider all. Kids are perfectly fine. I have a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse near Lake Otis and E 20th Avenue, close to the University and Midtown. 1700 square feet (160 square meters) according to the Anchorage property tax database. Nice area, bordered by parks. I havent even had a chance to move in yet, so it wouldnt be like you were moving into someones established house, which can be slightly weird.Rent would be $600 for one bedroom or $800 for the two available adjacent bedrooms, plus utilities and probably a small deposit. Includes use of half of a heated two-car garage. In principle, pets are alright - Cats, fish or maybe a well-behaved, mid-sized canine. No orangutans or marine mammals. Im a 26 year-old male, effectively employed, college educated, from Alaska and reasonably easy going. I dont want be too specific with roommate requests, as long as you can prove to me you can pay the rent and be respectful of peoples schedules. Hi, I have a new job in Midtown and looking into the possibility of moving, to be closer to work. I’m a male, 30 years old, very respectful, considerate, and professional. I would like to find out if there is anyone out there that would be interested in combining resources and renting a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment or house, with private bathrooms, in the Midtown or Eagle River area. I would like to keep my monthly expenses under $1,000, including utilities; or at least close to $1,000.I would like my roommate to be a friend as well, not just someone paying to stay in a room; I see in the morning on the way to work, and at night returning from work. I am a 30-year-old, single man moving to Anchorage in mid-July to start a position as an Assistant U.S. Attorney (federal prosecutor). Ive been with the Navy JAG Corps for the last five years. In my visit to Anchorage last month, I liked the Midtown area, and Id like to find a nice but modest rental house/duplex in that area. Im responsible and clean, with steady income, friendly but low-key lifestyle (no wild parties) and a clear credit record. Id prefer a 2-bedroom--a small second bedroom for an office would be ideal. Im very partial to wood floors but theyre not an absolute requirement. I dont currently have pets, but was considering getting a dog--and all things being equal, Id like to maintain that option. I have colleagues and friends in the area who can visit a property on my behalf if necessary; some photographs of the premises would be an excellent start though. If you want a reliable tenant who will never be late with the rent and can be trusted with your property, look no further. Im a 33 year old, professional female, non-smoker, social drinker. You must not smoke. The room is unfurnished and available for anyone who can give me first and last months rent before moving in. I waived this with my last roommate, but that was a huge mistake. So there are no exceptions to 2 months rent before moving in. I have 2 wonderful dogs, which is all that is allowed, so no pets unless mine die.
