The Big Lake Country Club Assisted living home currently has a position open for a Night Client Monitor / Cleaning person. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • To ensure the security and care of clients during the sleeping hours. • To ensure the security of the house during sleeping hours. • To ensure all windows and doors are secure and all clients are safe and well at the commencement of duty and through the night.• To ensure by personal count, the number of clients handed over by day staff is correct. • To check on the clients at regular intervals. • To keep written records of inspection tours and record any incidence. • To Ensure that all food prep, cleaning and laundry is undertaken during the night waking hours and domestic duties as and when required during shift and including other designated domestic/household chores. • To answer the telephone and log all messages. In the case of fire to sound the fire alarm and assist in the evacuation of the building. • To ensure that no unauthorized persons enter the property or building during the period of duty. • To be prepared (in the event of day staff being late or unwell) to remain on delegated living area until relieved, even if this does mean remaining on duty after normal end of shift. • To be alert and observant with regards to the well being of the clients and to possess and use practical first aid when the need arises. • To be prepared to attend in service training in relevant care areas during the day as negotiated. • To undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined by the Administrator/Owner. • Duties as assigned. Hours are to start 10:00 pm to 6:00am but could change; Current opening is for Friday and Saturday night but could change. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS are a clean driving record, first aid/CPR certification, TB test and a mandatory federal background check. You MUST have the first aid/CPR and TB BEFORE you can work for BLCC and we can assist in helping you schedule and complete the forms necessary. The administrator lives on the property in the main facility and is available 24 hours a day.
