Camp Fire Site Director (South Anchorage)
Do you want to have fun with kids and utilize your education while coaching and supervising a dynamic staff? Camp Fire USA is looking for people who have energy, talent and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of school-aged children.
Site Directors are responsible for activity and program development, data management, staff and environment development and community relations. We are looking for candidates who have previous experience with youth development, staff supervision and program delivery. Must have or be willing to achieve 12 credit hours in the youth development field and be 21 years or older.
Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 am 9:00 pm and again at 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm plus an average of 5 additional hours in a week. Hours at some sites will vary slightly.

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is seeking experienced, quality oriented outdoor leaders to supervise teams of six or eight high school students from across the US. The leaders work in pairs, equally responsible for the daily management and supervision of the crew in either a backcountry or frontcountry site. Each leader will assist their co-leader in managing student and group safety and development, cooking, camp life, and work project management. They will be expected to represent SCA on-site and coordinate with agency partner on designated project(s). These are residential programs, and leaders are expected to remain with the crew for the duration of the program. Program dates vary from two weeks to 35 days long, depending on location. Programs are located nationwide in National Parks and Forests, as well as other conserved lands. These are full-time, seasonal positions.
