The manager will work closely with a full time in-house artist specializing in book design. Jobs are printed in China, Korea, Thailand and throughout the Lower 48 and Alaska. The manager writes bid specifications for multiple printers to bid on in order to obtain the best combination of price, quality and speed. The job includes responsibility for tracking shipments and delivery times. It also involves working with a customs broker, trucking companies and FedEx. We have an exciting opportunity in Anchorage for a Marine & Maintenance Manager. This position is responsible for the successful management of Anchorage vessel operations, including vessel loading & discharging, and maintenance and repair of TOTE equipment in Alaska. Position will report to Alaska Director. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS*Directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
