The Pebble Partnership is seeking a Chief Geologist. This JV is in the process of completing a pre-feasibility study, with a goal of having a world class copper-gold-molybdenum mine in operation. The Chief Geologist will be responsible for execution of all geological aspects of Pebble project including program planning, mapping, drilling , sampling , special projects, and the development of geological and alteration models. This position will have several geologists as direct reports. The successful candidate will have a degree or Masters in Geology/Geological Engineering, and experience working in porphyry copper deposits. Minimum 5 years managing large drill programs and significant field experience, preferably in helicopter supported operations in remote Arctic or sub-Arctic locations.
