My boyfriend and I are looking to rent two bedrooms. I have a friendly 50-lb dog who gets along with everyone and all kinds of pets. She has lived with dogs and cats. We own bedroom furniture, but no other common area items. We can buy some furniture/dishes if needed, but have no problem sharing if your house is already furnished. I would like to find a place with a securely fenced yard for my dog and a place that has newer, clean carpet. Currently moving because I am allergic to the 20 y/o carpet in my house. No carpet would be ideal, but is very hard to find in Anchorage.
We are both hard working accountants with steady jobs. We can provide proof of employment/salary and landlord references. We always pay our rent on time! We currently pay $550/bedroom incl. utilities, but are willing to pay more for the right place. Please let me know your asking rent and what utilities/amenities are included. Christian family of 3 needs housing from about April 1 - end of May. We will be in the Anchorage area from about April 1st until the end of May, and then we will be leaving Anchorage and heading off to our seasonal job for the summer. (We are currently staying in Kodiak at our seasonal job which will end April 1st).
We are not picky about size. We just really need somewhere to stay in between our jobs. We have been long time Alaskan residents. I can provide references if needed.
It will be me, my husband and our son. We also have a dog who is 7 years old and is house broken. He has also received his CGC (canine good citizen) from the AKC.
If anyone out there cannot provide housing, but has some suggestions, we welcome those as well.
