The manager for the community gets excellent rates from local boats for fishing expeditions. There is a lovely Golf Course at Loreto Bay and community members get a discount. The dollar is strong in Mexico, there are no drug war or swine flu worries down on the Baja (Loreto is about 200 miles above Cabo. Just go and have fun.
