Live in Nanny / Room (S. Anchorage)![]() |
S. Anchorage | Nanny $500 / Room Value $750 / Only $250 for monthly rental | 2009-06-15 3:41PM |
| I am looking for someone who will live in my house for a reduced rental rate, and in return do an exchange for some limited nanny service. About the children: I have 2 daughters that are 2.5 and 5 yrs old. The 2.5 yr old is in full time day care available from 7 AM – 6 PM. The 5 yr old is also in full time day care right now, but will be starting kindergarten this fall. What I would ideally like is someone who can get the girls ready in the morning and take the 2.5 yr old to daycare, and the 5 yr old to kindergarten at 9:30 AM. That would basically be 2.5 hrs in the morning. I would then like you to pick up the 5 yr old at 3:30 PM when school is out for the day, and be with the girls until 6 PM, with an occasional 7 PM. Tjat os basically 2.5 hrs again in the afternoon. I would expect some simple meal prepartion for the girls, and light housekeeping chores as well. I do not need nanny services during the day. The daycare is across the street, and the elementary school is within a 3 minute walk from the house. I am a single mother and the girls are with their dad 10 days of the month. On those dates I don’t need any nanny services. I only work M-F so I don’t need any assistance on the weekends. If additional services were worked out on an occasion type basis, you would be compensated accordingly. This leaves you most of the day, weekends and evenings free, along with an additional 7-10 days free that the girls are with their dad. There is no driving of the children necessary. The value of these services to me is $500. About my house: The house is located in South Anchorage, Bayshore neighborhood. I have a large 4 level home - of which I ony use 2 levels. (Bedroom level and kitchen / living room) . The room I have available, has a king bed, dresser, nightstand, couch, TV and fireplace in it. Really large room! It is on its ownlevel of the house. The bathroom is upstairs and rarely used. The full private bathroom is on a separate area, but it will be all yours. There is a half bathroom on your level. Shared kitchen w/ me. Clubhouse privileges include pool and gym. No pets, no smoking and female. I am tidy and expect the same. Cable, water, sewer, heat, wireless internet included. The value of this room is $750.
